Mixed experience Demo recording was slow - as requested - and the final product was double the speed. Beautiful box, as designed, however the design process allowed me to add features I hadn’t ordered, and then I had to pay extra. Awesome they could transpose the box for an original composition, however I was disappointed in a few of the steps along the way.

Above and beyond This process took over 3 months because they went above and beyond in helping me create the perfect custom music. They were able to send the music score and I could edit it each time and then they would send back a sample of the music. The final product is perfect and I can’t say enough how much I appreciate the work and time that the musician took to get the music to be what I was looking for.

I wish i could give more than 5 stars I wish i could give more than 5 stars! I commissioned a custom tune music box with ring holder as a birthday gift for my husband. Cedrick worked with me throughout the customization process. He was super responsive and very quick with the music box demo and engraving sample. I don't remember if there was some rule about only allowing a certain number of changes (I looked into a couple of different shops before going with Donuma), but even if there was such a rule, it didn't matter because the Donuma team nailed it on every element of the design process. Cedrick sent along multiple engraving choices based on my rather paltry description for what i wanted the font to look like, and they all looked fantastic. Alas I could only choose one! And their musician is amazing too—I had chosen a segment of a rather peppy song and their musician was unfortunately unable to convert that particular part of the song, but was quick to suggest another segment that was similar enough to my original choice, so it'd still be very recognizable. The final product is beautiful and my husband loved it and was very impressed. Thank you to Cedrick and the rest of the Donuma team for helping me make this a special day for my husband!

OUTSTANDING product! The employees I spoke to were wonderful. At every step of the process where I needed something customized, they checked in with me to confirm it was what I wanted; when I asked a question regarding the music box tune and wanted it adjusted, I was thoroughly explained to about why that would not be possible, which I found very helpful and informative. The music box itself is absolutely GORGEOUS, I am in love with it! It is the perfect gift for any loved ones in your life. The price tag for the custom tune is high, but I swear it's 100% worth it to hear a piece (that somehow isn't in their extremely extensive list) that means something special to you.
