Working with Cloud Animations (CA) has… Working with Cloud Animations (CA) has been a bit of a goat rodeo. If you're patient, creative, and have ample time on your hands, they can be a worthwhile partner. I'll break down our background, pros, and cons below. Background: We are a church that has a couple of opportunities that benefit other church leaders. We have a very limited budget and don't have $10K to drop on animated videos. That is why CA was interesting to us. I had to scour the internet to track down other folks that had used CA and validate that they were a real company and reliable...which they are...kind of. Pros: - Truly, they are unlimited revsions. - Highly communicative. - Negotiable in their pricing structure. We paid $600 for 2x ~2min videos. We provided our own VO because theirs was pretty bad. - We never paid for music. - They actually gave us the source files to the videos which is generous. Cons: - There is a language barrier. - You will spend double the time you think it will managing this, communicating revisions, and forget about more complex subjects. You don't have someone proactively thinking through the script. You have to communicate it verbatim during the storyboarding process. - Do not trust that they will be logical with their development of the video. Simple things that no American company would overlook (or hold you responsible on revisions for) are things like using the same font throughout a video. We caught a small font difference after we had finalized it and were asked to pay extra. Overall, you get what you pay for. The videos were good enough for us, but they aren't award winning. I also think that the amount of time this took might have equated to what it would have cost to just run through an American company. We worked with CA from January to July of 2023.

Guys Guys, I have to share my experience with Cloud Animations' motion graphics. It was like fireworks on screen! They weaved together visuals and effects that had my jaw on the floor. The transitions were so slick it felt like a seamless dance. People were glued to the screen when I used it for my presentation. It added a whole new level of professionalism. Cloud Animations is highly recommended!
