I was at first a little dubious about submitting my music to ModernBeats I was at first a little dubious about becoming part of this site (I had never heard of ModernBeats), but I was a fed up with other sites constantly churning out the same old listings so I gave them a shot! Great move! within a couple of months I was contacted by a big Trailer company to write an album. These guys supplied the Trailer music to The Matrix/Terminator etc. Let's face it! It doesn't get any bigger! I've also been contacted by another successful boutique music library that have so far taken over 80 tracks. To be honest, I submit at least 20 tracks a month and out of those 20 submissions perhaps 15 get a forward. And out of those 15 forwards only 2 companies get back to me! But when it's top tier companies like this, that's all I need! I am finally starting to see some royalties again after years of struggling and that's thanks to ModernBeats. Anyone that thinks this site is a scam, I'm living proof it isn't!

modernbeats and the songwriter. I have submitted 5 songs to this site, and have had a review by A&R from several labels and publishers. Although i have yet to be informed that any of my songs have received concrete interest from labels, i have been accepted by many labels on two particular songs, and of those that didn't receive acceptance, they did respond with how the songs were constructed and why they hadn't been selected. Comms with modernbeats is also very good. I would say that although without proof, i am very satisfied that i am using this platform. Yes, you have to pay a premium, but i consider this subsequent to doing all the legwork to gain interest off my own back. The opportunities seem to be there, but make sure you read what each company is looking for, and submit accordingly. Since writing this review, I have had interest from 2 A&R people, and have signed with one.
