Don't DIY...Use CryptoTaxGirl I was using diy software for the past 6 years. It was always a struggle inputting all of the data from the various exchanges/wallets. With CTG, the experience was seamless. Stephen was my contact person. He did an excellent job communicating with me and providing an extensive report of ALL of my transactions over the years. The results were remarkably accurate! He prepared my crypto tax forms which I sent to my accountant who was also very impressed with his work. All considered, an excellent experience. These people are pros. Well worth their fees.

Pricy but well worth it! Joe was a pleasure to work with. He was exactly what I was looking for in terms of knowledge about niche things in crypto and patience when I asked what must have been pretty dumb questions. They're not cheap but if you're in need of experts in the space who are capable of understanding nuanced situations, it's well worth the money. I would 100% work with them again.
