Useful and affordable service I had no idea I even needed to file taxes until my friend told me about Thriftax and I read one of their blog posts. I ended up filing with Thriftax and they had me use an India tax treaty which saved me a lot of money.

Butter Smooth! This is hands down the best platform to file non-resident taxes for international students. I tried multiple platforms such as Sprintax/Turbotax/TaxAct etc, but even with their premium support, I could not find a comprehensive platform to file my trading activity. Most softwares are geared towards resident tax filing and have none to poor support for non-residents. Thriftax was the only platform that was abe to meet all my needs including reporting of trading activity through Robinhood. Additionally the user interface is a lot friendlier and easy to navigate compared to other platforms such as Sprintax. I highly recommend Thriftax to all international students over other softwares.
