At one point, I used my business email to invest in a company instead of my personal email. This caused some confusion about one of my investments. Republic figured out the issue and got me back on track. Republic is my go-to investing platform.

Even though the Republic platform… Even though the Republic platform claims to conduct due diligence checks before listing a company for crowdfunding, over 95% of these companies cease to exist or perform below average. Many of them fail to provide any updates post fundraising. Therefore, I strongly advise exercising caution when investing in startups, particularly through this platform. The failure rate is not 80%, but rather 95% or even higher.Also republic never give an update on status of starups on users dashboard. So we don't come to know that the investment exist or not!

Even though they claim to conduct due… Even though they claim to conduct due diligence before listing companies to raise funds, in my experience, 95% of the companies are not scalable or lack an addressable market. I have invested in over 20 companies, and I don't receive any updates from them. I don't even know if these companies still exist. Many companies have closed down. The portfolio dashboard is never updated, and once the money is collected and transferred to the company, their responsibility ends there. I suggest staying away from this platform.Republic.com, I understand that 95% of startups will fail. My question is, why don't Republic update the dashboard of users to reflect the latest status of each company listed on your portal?

Great platform for startup funding. Great platform connecting startups and crowd funding. Interface is easy to use. Wish to see more ways to pay back investors/share profits/dividends, this will encourage them to keep investing.
