GBHonest review(updated) Honest review(updated): An important peice of information is that this is app is connected to an FDIC insured bank. That means that there is NO WAY you will lose your money (per FDIC policy). The APY is 0.30% starting April. Further, their "pool" instructions are listed clearly. There are multiple prize sections, so do not lose hope if you dont win 25k. If you enter a referral code, you get 10% extra on your winnings and so do I. If you want to use mine, it would be appreciated: ZEVQE

GBSolid app to help you save The app wasn't very stable when I first used the service, but the last few months it seems like those issues have been corrected. I enjoy using the service, helps me save and is always exciting to see what I may have won come Friday afternoon.

GBUnderstated design, higher APY than what my checking account offers Amongst the prize-linked savings account apps on my phone, I find that I gravitate towards PrizePool the most. Oddly enough, it's probably because it feels the least flashiest and "lotto" like. As a designer by trade, the color scheme is understated unlike its competitors and the UI is clear. With its steady savings bonus and realistic prizes, I've started treating it like another savings account albeit one with a higher APY and chance to win that $25k! Better to park my funds here than in my bank account.

GBGreat app Great concept. Thus far, I’m earning 15% interest on some money that I would otherwise have to keep in a savings account earning approximately .05%. I’m confident the money’s safe here, and it’s fun checking each week to see whether I’ve won some additional cash.

GBPrizepool has been a great app for… Prizepool has been a great app for savings! WIth other savings accounts, you get almost no interest and there's nothing exciting about it. Prizepool has thus far exceeded most other savings account APYs and added an element of excitement with weekly drawings. I haven't struck any big prizes yet, but it's fun revealing the prize weekly and as mentioned above, still beats our other saving account returns. I highly recommend at least trying PrizePool out with at least a small amount of money.
