Quick and Easy Selling our foreign currency remainders was quick and easy. I cannot speak to whether or not the price we got was a reasonable one. I simply had old coins and some paper currency that I knew I would not use again. In the future I hope to donate leftover currency before I leave the spot I traveled if I am not traveling on an airline that offers in the air donation.

Simple and fair While liquidating a business I found a box of leftover currency from foreign trips employees had taken over the years. Most of it consisted of obsolete bills that were no longer legal tender and could only be exchanged at the central bank in the issuing country. I was relieved to learn that I could mail these to FCCE for exchange at rates it publishes on line. The discount was reasonable in light of the service performed. Multiple coin types Had no idea how to turn in multiple types of coins my husband had picked up from years as an overseas pilot. I was able to use the website resources to identify most of them and was pleased with the website tip to ship to ship USPS in a box with a reasonable fee no matter the weight. I received my check in a timely manner. Would definitely use this service again!
