Foreign Currency And Exchange provides an excellent service with clear instructions, so that I was able to send them my mixture of leftover currencies with payment precalculated and done immedeatelly after my package was delievered. Simple and fair While liquidating a business I found a box of leftover currency from foreign trips employees had taken over the years. Most of it consisted of obsolete bills that were no longer legal tender and could only be exchanged at the central bank in the issuing country. I was relieved to learn that I could mail these to FCCE for exchange at rates it publishes on line. The discount was reasonable in light of the service performed. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. The process was fast and convenient. U.S. dollars appeared in my account the day the bills arrived.

Poor Experince I tried this service out with some leftover bills from a trip to Nepal. I went in sort of expecting some sort of issue, but it was for a small amount. But issues are what occurred. The owner responded to my initial status request saying he did not receive anything yet but was looking fwd to it since he had another customer going to Nepal shortly. Which outside that chance occurrence, had me wondering why that would matter considering this was for roughly $35. Instead of getting the current exchange with this service, what I got was the feeling of being gaslit by his response when I initially inquired about the status of this exchange. I guess things can always get lost in the mail, but sort of funny this is my first occurrence of such an event. Even more so with this being in the same city. Do not recommend.

Fast and as promised Super convenient way to recover your leftover cash from a trip. It was fast (2-3 business days in total) and I was refunded all that was promised. Exchange rate was far from ideal, but I didn't find better alternatives in the market and they do need to make money for the service they provide.
