The rest of the currency, coins and cards were properly exchanged and the total was promptly deposited into my bank account. I followed up twice, hoping to clear up what happened. I never got a response. According to the order form that I submitted, the item was a $10 gift card worth $5, so it wasn't a huge deal, but I would have appreciated some explanation, like 1) We don't accept that kind of card anymore, 2) There was something wrong with the card, or 3) Whoops, we'll take another look and get back to you. This is a really unique service so I wanted it to be useful, but I can't strongly recommend that people put a lot of trust in it. I'd be reluctant to use it again. Definitely read the ENTIRE website like I did. As the owner recommends, always send money using a service with tracking numbers. I will add: photograph everything you send, and don't send large amounts in one order...just in case something is lost. If you have a big jar of random coins and currency that's collecting dust, this might be worth a try. You don't have much to lose. I liked being able to send gift cards that I wasn't likely to use.
