After sorting them by country, I was able to identify those that were worth anything on the website. I contacted the company via email and they responded quickly. I sent a number of coins that I was unable to identify. When my check arrived, it was a greater amount than expected. Great service.

Simple and fair While liquidating a business I found a box of leftover currency from foreign trips employees had taken over the years. Most of it consisted of obsolete bills that were no longer legal tender and could only be exchanged at the central bank in the issuing country. I was relieved to learn that I could mail these to FCCE for exchange at rates it publishes on line. The discount was reasonable in light of the service performed. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. The process was fast and convenient. U.S. dollars appeared in my account the day the bills arrived.

Multiple coin types Had no idea how to turn in multiple types of coins my husband had picked up from years as an overseas pilot. I was able to use the website resources to identify most of them and was pleased with the website tip to ship to ship USPS in a box with a reasonable fee no matter the weight.
