Great service from start to finish! Mr. Terpay and the team at Equityprime did an amazing job from preapproval all the way to closing. To get pre-approved for my 203k loan, they first had to help me increase my credit score, which they helped me increase my score by 100 points within 3 months. Afterwards they were a great team to have going into the table and were very organized, intelligent, and helpful throughout the entire process of buying a home. I highly recommend them!

Nothing they quoted me turned out to be true Nothing they quoted me turned out to be true at the end. It was a bait and switch to get me to move from another lender to them. They were supposed to lock us in, but didn’t and kept up the charade until we could not get our earnest money back. I do a lot of real estate transactions and used them because this was an out of state purchase. Highly unprofessional and downright dishonest. I did find another lender that was true to their word!

I would not recommend Equity Prime Mortgage. First major concern was when loan agent paused the loan process after the seller's agent called her and said that the deal may fall through because of tough negotiations. This caused serious stress to meet our deadlines. Then another agent sent an important document to me after 4PM that needed to be signed the same day or else the closing date would need to be postponed a day, and failed to communicate the importance until after I signed it the next day. Maybe it wouldn't have been a big deal to some but we were flying from NJ to FL for the closing and the next day the title company wasn't available, so that really put us out.

Equity Prime is the best! I have utilized Equity Prime three times to refinance my primary residence. Not only has Steve Carpitella and his staff saved me thousands of dollars, his sound financial advice has allowed me to utilize my assets to make other real estate investments that I never thought were possible. I have recommended Equity Prime to my family and friends who also have nothing but great things to say about Equity Prime, from first time home buyers to refinancing. The staff is so thorough, make the process so easy and they are prompt. I have not found the level of customer service anywhere that I get with Equity Prime.

Criminals.. We have been going through this for almost 4 months and paid for 3 extensions and have no clue when we are closing. Our family is being forced to put our stuff in storage and couch surf with 5 small children. You guys are criminals. We have paid thousands of dollars in BS fees and done everything that has been asked of us. They have moved the closing date twice now and have no prospects of another date..
