Report Rarible to the FTC We need to report Rarible to the FTC. There is no upfront information about how they charge you. You are asked to create an account with an ETH wallet of their choice. That is fine (I chose MEW which is also terrible bc they took more than half of my $50 in fees). Then when you are publishing you NFT, they take a small fee (which you do see how much it is upfront). Then after they take that, you are asked to pay a fee literally 10x. So I paid $14 worth of ETH then the next step asked for about $150... When I reached out to their support they told me things like "we are sorry you don't understand" and "recommend researching something before getting financially involved." I am disgusted. They need to be investigated.

Verification is based upon one's social… Verification is based upon one's social networking and whatever their whim, not the intrinsic appeal of one's art. Further, gas fees are through the ceiling and user support is an absolute mirage! Also beware of their website! Accidentally push a button to explore features and you are charged even more gas.

Not Worth Messing with Yes, you can create NFT listing for free. But the real catch, they don't tell you, that the seller is stuck with the gas fee, which can be $200 or more. I do not call this lazy minting, I call it ripping people off. The whole crypto market is about scamming people, and this one of them. Plus, they are tied in with OpenSea, and nothing is free with OpenSea since they are not offering lazy minting either, you now have to pay them as well. If want to sell your artwork online, better stay away from the NFT, and the crypto market, bunch of thiefs. Don't expect to get rich from these people, the fees are high.
