Skeptical at first; now wishing I did it a long time ago. I was skeptical going into this knowing that my credit would take a hit from their credit check and then another hit from having a “Charged Off” account on my credit. I went forward with CCC knowing I couldn’t afford not to by cutting my interest rate by 75%. Only today I find out that it’s a soft credit check AND they work with the creditors to simply lower the interest and doesn’t show the “Charged off” on my credit report! How can it get better than that?
