GBLack of help when I needed it the most I worked with Allsup for two years to get my Social Security disability approved. Once I got the money from SSA to reimburse my Long-Term Disability (LTD) insurance provider, they dropped me like a hot potato. Even though my LTD was non-taxable, I had to pay taxes on the money I paid back to the LTD provider. After several calls for help from them on how to avoid paying taxes, I finally gave up because I got no assistance. I felt like once they were able to count me as a successfully approved disability case, they wanted nothing more to do with me.
