I've bought life insurance before, but never online. I am slowly becoming more comfortable with online shopping, mostly Amazon at this point. Purchasing online life insurance would have been a stretch for me 5 years ago but I got online with directlifequote.com. I put in my date of birth and picked my health rating and in less than 5 seconds, I had my quote. There were different choices on price and a list of life insurance companies that I recognized. There were also companies listed that I have not heard of. The cheapest was Protective. I did not know Protective but the site has great information about all the different companies. I was ready to move forward with applying but they started to ask for personal information. This is where I get a bit nervous about online purchases. I know from buying life insurance before that they require a lot of information, I just wasn’t sure of putting this down on an online form. So, before I appied, I decided to call them. I called and spoke to Jo. After about 3 minutes of discussing the process and the company, I knew they were legit. Jo directed me back to the site and walked me through the application process and what would come next. Once I received my policy, it finally hit me that I just bought my life insurance online.

I needed help and got it.., My original thought was that Direct Life Quite was only online service, I was wrong. I spent about 30 minutes with their customer service team and they were patient with me. Being a first time life insurance buyer, I had a lot of questions about price, benfits, beneficiaries, etc. I was impressed by their team.
