Purchased Travel Insurance - Complete Fraud Purchased a travel insurance policy for my mother in law coming to Australia. She had a fall at our house and broke her ankle that required surgery. TAS initially advised the policy does not provide cover for surgery. Then they declined to surgical costs because they considered the screws and plates needed in the surgery was prosthetics. TAS have declined ALL costs associated to this accident, including the initial time spent in the hospital, which they advised us to attend.
