GBCatch 22 shows lack of customer service After several years went to log on to the web portal of Securian. Found that I could NOT log on and there was no explicit reason. The web site refers you to the telephone contact where there is no person answering which in-turn refers you back to the web site. Bad customer experience and design. Resolved by chance by just randomly changing my password and using the same exact password as previously. As an IT systems person of 4 decades I can state that they have not sufficiently tested all scenarios and put the error burden on the user. Not an acceptable business practice.

GBThis company sucks they will not pay… This company sucks they will not pay you & give you the run around my job status has changed due to have accident & this company will not do anything when I have had this policy forever I can’t even work like I use to, my job is talking about sending me to disability which will seriously affect me & my family. That’s why u get insurance in the event something happens so you can still provide for your family but all this company does is rip you off & make excuses they didn’t even read my medical reports. They keep saying my right hand when it clearly says 3 fingers damaged on left hand this company is full of crap & just takes people money & screw them over

GBSCAM!!! OPT OUT!!! SCAM!!! TERRIBLE!!! I had a loan with Michigan First Credit Union and they added this foul company to my loan as insurance. Just like 70% of the work force I was put on unemployment due to both my job going out of business on March 13,2020 but also the Covid that started March 16,2020. As I kept making payments to the credit union I was told that my insurance was through “ALLIED”, who says I DO NOT have insurance with them. 3-years goes by with me making all of my payments on time and by shear dumb luck I was able to find out that in fact “Securian” who is owner by “ALLIED” has my insurance policy on the loan. First they only covered 1 payment then proceeded to take care of only 3 months of payments. I was told to start another claim but use the dates after what has already been submitted. Now I have some person telling me that they need proof that I was receiving the unemployment benefits which is fine but they are also asking for proof that I was working at least 24 hours per week. Sounds like they are trying NOT TO PAY, and get me to say I was working and getting unemployment. Bottom line is that I paid for coverage and this ripoff company does not want to pay out. I also blame these credit unions for adding this scam to loans and not vetting the company, my guess is that they are getting paid too. OPT OUT AND FIND YOUR OWN INSURANCE!!!

GBSave your Money Everyone! I had purchased insurance on 2 Alliant Credit Union loans in case I die, get sick, my payment would either get paid or the loan would be paid in full. When the covid 19 hit us and we had the shut down I contacted Alliant Credit Union and they said I needed to contact Securian, which I did. The denied my claim because they said I did not qualify for unemployment. They wanted proof of unemployment. I sent them the record of unemployment payment made to me. This was in March. I a letter in Mid May that I still do not qualify. I called several times leaving messages. No reply. I blame Alliant Credit Union for providing Third party services which collect fund but don't pay out when a legitimate claim is submitted.

GBIt is a scam they take the money and… It is a scam they take the money and then they will do what they can do best , find a reason not to pay for what they signed up for. Do not waste your time and money they are a scam.
