GBThe process of obtaining a loan through… The process of obtaining a loan through Proper is fairly straightforward, however, for my last loan request, my 4th in the past 5 years, they did not warn me that they would execute a new "hard credit inquiry" which caused a slight drop in my FICO score. In the past, Prosper only checked my FICO score for my first loan, for my 2nd and 3rd they did not. Now, for my 4th loan, they didn't even give me a heads up during the process, and without consent, they pulled a hard inquiry credit report which I did not appreciate. Other than that the overall experience with Proper has been ok.
