Maybe he is just a really good salesman (in which case, props for that) but I didn't feel the need to shop around more with other banks because he made me comfortable.

The very best in his field! Mr. Dominique Sinsay is the number one agent in his career field. He’s the sole reason my disabled sister can now remain in her home. My sister faced losing her home because her income was being reduced by a third. She would not be able to make her mortgage payments. Her only hope was to apply for a HECM reverse mortgage that would eliminate her mortgage payments. However, this was a complex undertaking because of her bad credit score and extreme indebtedness. I worked on her behalf in an attempt to secure a reverse mortgage through Mutual of Omaha, the top-rated company for HECMs. We were put into contact with Mr. Sinsay who devoted hours of his time and walked us through the process and suggested ways we could improve her credit and debt to income ratio. Along the way we ran into many obstacles that Mr. Sinsay worked hard to overcome for her. For example, he personally contacted some of my sister’s biggest creditors to determine if they’d accept payment from this HECM loan should it be approved, further reducing her debt to income ratio to the point that it was acceptable. Through years of experience, skill, and determination he secured approval from Mutual of Omaha as well as the loan underwriters and the FHA. Friendly and helpful Friendly, competent people. Kim was great. They had a good interest rate and called me right away. Kim also gave me helpful pointers even though she knew I probably was going with another lender. I will definitely consider them for my next mortgage.
