GBThe refund was not refunded to my Bank Groupon offered a refund for price match and confirmed several times that the amount was already issued and that it was the issue from my Bank. I complained several times with the bank and groupon for almost 5 weeks....long story, short story...they never gave me back the refund due to technical errors (that's what they said at the end) and finally the provided it in groupon bucks. They made me waste my time instead of solving the issue since the beginning.

GBIt took forever for Groupon to credit… It took forever for Groupon to credit me for a fraudulent charge. I called the merchant, verified it wasn't me and asked Groupon to call same merchant. Upon deciding to refund, they asked me for my checking account info or would give me Groupon credit. This is afterwards they told me they credited my charge card but didn't. Needless to say I wouldn't trust them or anyone else with personal information so after me completely stressing out, I chose to use Groupon credit they offered. I believe they charged my credit card on March 4, 2024.

GBAvoid fake company deals I was annoyed that I had to talk to a customer service rep to get my money back. I bought a deal that was clearly put up by a defunct business. I wish Groupon was a little more proactive on removing offers from companies that are no longer in business. But I please that I got a refund and was able to buy the service from another company that was much open.

GBGroupon changed the terms of the deal… Groupon changed the terms of the deal after I had purchased it by informing me that none of the local locations could be used for an oil change. The only locations were several hours away. My emails to groupon support went unanswered. Finally, I did a chat session with a Groupon support person and they said nothing could be done and that person disconnected on me. On my second chat with Groupon support, they provided a credit in Groupon bucks.
