Anybody can tell you you're… Anybody can tell you you're pre-approved so that you can feel good about going to look at houses. It's meaningless without a commitment letter. And, in order to get to that point you have to work with a company that tells the truth, good or bad, from the very beginning. Lynx broke down my credit, broke down my income, where it comes from, and for how long, etc. They were thorough. If you speak to a broker that just pulls your credit and tells you they can get you a mortgage run away! Getting a mortgage takes many months and it's a relationship. The most important thing you can do is be honest with your information, and have it ready and available to provide. Second, it's important to deal with trustworthy, professional, hard working people. I worked with Evan Fine on a refi, and a new mortgage during the pandemic, mind you, and the bottom line is he and they got it done! I am very grateful to Lynx. Definitely recommend them.
