Excellent site for backtesting equity trading strategies Excellent site for testing stock and ETF trading strategies. P123 provides a thorough point-in-time database with a powerful and flexible engine to simulate backtests of systems. And they integrate with Interactive Brokers to automate applying those strategies to live trading.

Toxic environment Toxic environment that stigmatizes creative, productive, diverse critiques as so-called "unconstructive" and "repetitive" and condones toxic personal attacks.

Extremely powerful and unique tool Extremely powerful and unique tool. Im not aware of any other like it on the market. Despite having no formal finance background I have decisively beaten my benchmark index for multiple years with real money investing in companies that are off most other people's radar. Once you get used to systematically investing with a model you will wonder how you did it any other way (or how you could do it any other way). The staff is extremely knowledgable and responsive. The user community is generous and supportive. Beyond that, the tool is just fun to research, test theories and play around with.

I really like P123 works I really like P123 works. The criteria for screens are easy to create and change. It's not a dumbed down version like I've seen on other sites. The backtesting is an interesting and useful feature. To get a 5 star rating you would need to (1) change FCF to exclude dividends (that is so weird and causes me more work to get around), (2) add Invested Capital as a criteria in screening (this would also save me a lot of work), and add foreign stocks to screening universe (I wish you luck in this endeavor. At this point I cannot contribute.)

Highly recommended They make a great product and offer a good service. They are responsive. It takes time to learn their tools and how to navigate their website which is no different than any other comparable site except that you are doing far less coding from scratch and more actual thinking and developing trading models.
