Best rate, best experience, fast and painless close. I just finished a refi with Ben from Loanjoy. While I had some great estimates and incentives as I really shopped hard for the best deal, Ben came through with the lowest rate without any points or garbage fees. My jaw dropped when I saw the final estimate... "Isn't this supposed to be more expensive?". My refi was for just a little under what was owed so no way to hide fees in a cash out. Ben was quick to respond when I had questions and was very proactive in updating me on progress. All professional, nothing pushy. Signed closing docs on my front patio with the notary on a Friday morning (Ben confirmed my availability first) and I had authorized ACH online for closing the night before, very easily. Start to finish was about 2 weeks. Again, I had other lenders lined up that competed by shaving bits and juggling fees around, cash after closing, statement credits etc which took me some extra time to detangle the actual cost of the loan. Two loans closed successfully I've done two loans with Loanjoy. When I thought my first experience was phenomenal the second one turned out to be even better! I'd highly recommend Loanjoy to anyone. The process was very streamlined with electronic upload portals and unlike others I was never asked for the same document twice. The specialist was very proactive with the underwriting team and this led to closing the loan in 21 days! We were able to close nine days before contract date. The team was also very patient in answering my questions even when some of it were too detailed to worry about. This shows their respect for the customer.
