GBAs a former Quicken user… As a former Quicken user, I can't see paying $45/year to buy a subscription. I tried Personal Capital and am very pleased with it's interface, performance and pricetag. The only weakness I can see is the inability to track cash purchases or do online updates of manual accounts. Otherwise, I think I'm hooked.

GBPersonal Capital Support Deteriorating Personal Capital, now Empowerment is no longer the responsive company I am use to working with. Their dashboard and financial planning has been accurate and very informative. When there are issues, their support got things resolved within 2-3 weeks, sometimes the next day. Now, things have changed, support lacks responsiveness and cannot give ETAs on fixes.IT is not exact science however it raises the question of the capabilities of their personnel to get things fixed. Something has to change.

GBCentral hub to manage finances I love Personal Capital and recommend it to friends to begin their financial journeys. The net worth graph is an easy way to view the impact of debt and grow assets. I also love the monthly emails that give me an idea of how I'm budgeting. Overall - highly recommend this app to have in your financial tool kit to run mini personal finance reports to get a "temperature check" on how you're doing :)

GBHolds lots of info, not very neat The software is great for holding A LOT of information. You can put everything in there. However, it doesn’t let you put % ownership of real estate investment properties (if you own with a partner) and can’t link purchasing activity to Venmo. I also think the interface could be a lot cleaner. It’s takes some getting used to, I’ve had it about a month and I still can’t navigate it as efficiently as I’d like.

GBA must have if you're serious about budgeting and saving If you're serious about tracking your spending and budgeting, personal capital is a must. It really helps see where you spend your money and what you can cut back on. Linking all accounts has been easy and the technology at personal capital seems great. And since it's free, there is no excuse not to get it!!
