Orchard = Good | Orchard Home Loans = Bad Note: This review is for Orchard Home Loans (untrustworthy loan sharks) and not for the real estate company Orchard (legit company with the FANTASTIC "buy and move first" program). Orchard home loans is essentially Rocket Mortgage using a different name. Their loan costs: $13,199. The loan costs of my trusted mortgage company for the exact same loan: $1,055. The business model of "we will gouge you unless you have a cheaper offer somewhere else" absolutely destroys their credibility. Even they were to work out a better deal than the one I got, I wouldn't be able to trust them with the other details of the transaction. Orchard Home Loans / Rocket Mortgage should be ashamed of themselves for trying to take advantage of people. I feel sorry for the people who use these guys and don't know they have to get other quotes in order to get a fair loan.
