Apt hunting virtually was very hard for me since I had certain specifications in mind, was on a tight budget, and had a very narrow move-in time frame (that was quickly approaching!). I struggled to find places that I loved and had an even harder time getting in touch with leasing offices. I had a generally fantastic experience I had a generally fantastic experience! There is one exception for feedback: a miscommunication about reaching out to other agents. We reached out directly to another agent after 2-day radio silence from our VeryApt team. The situation then turned into a time-consuming issue, where we had to get on the phone for over 30 mins, and then personally email the other agent. We are happy to help clear things up-- but this seems like something that VeryApt can work to solve on the back end as opposed to involving their clients in these affairs. Moving from out of state Moving from out of state, I was coming into the Chicago area rental market pretty blind, and Hadieh was really helpful in giving me a better sense for the market, i.e. how much I should expect to pay, what she considered a good deal, etc. Since I was doing my search remotely, she even did video tours for me via FaceTime so I could get a feel for apartments from afar. She made the entire apartment search easy and stress-free - highly recommend!
