I wasn’t sure if I could afford it. Looking back, there’s no way I could afford *not* to do it. I wouldn’t recommend this service and… I wouldn’t recommend this service and thank goodness I didn’t go past the second stage. Not equipped to truly handle challenges of high performing, six figure earners. More specifically black or as a minority candidate our journeys are different despite education and we need someone to be able to understand that. My initial phone call was great because she was a minority/Latina and could relate to some of my issues experienced in the job market. The second call was with a non-minority and it just wasn’t a match for me. It truly annoys me that in today’s world we still cannot have that challenging conversation about race with people who don’t look like us. Nevertheless, I reached out to another service provider that is more aligned with my needs without issue.
