USI have been navigating the home buying… I have been navigating the home buying process on my own for years. Today I had my first counseling session with NACA and I feel optimistic about finally achieving my goal. I was nervous about sharing my financial shortcomings. However, I'd like to extend a huge 'thank you' to Ellen Peterson for her nonjudgmental counseling style, for her clarity and wisdom, and for creating a safe space for me to talk through my next steps. I feel more equipped than ever and I look forward to continuing the process with NACA and more specifically with Ellen.

USNACA provides an excellent opportunity to become a homeowner! My wife and I are first time home buyers and feel encouraged and excited to begin this process. We attended a HBW at the end of January and were inspired by the reasons NACA was founded and the ongoing activism. Our counselor Timothy has been helpful with the pre-counseling process and we look forward to making progress soon.

USI am just starting this journey I am just starting this journey, so far it has been a process but worth it. I am learning as I go. My initial appointment with my counselor went well, he was very informative and took his time to assist me with all of my questions. I really look forward to the end. So far I feel very excited and comfortable about this program and I have already referred one of my friends and look forward to referring many more.

USNACA Review I found out about NACA through a friend who is a realtor when I inquired about housing programs for low-income individuals. I scheduled to go to an informational meeting and then followed the instructions provided. Today was my first counseling meeting with Darryl Hughes and we had a pleasant interaction about what my next steps would be and agreed on an action plan creating a budget. My favorite part of the program is that there is no down payment, and no closing costs. I am looking forward to finding a home that is a good fit very soon.

USOne of the worst experience I've ever… One of the worst experience I've ever had. Literally, I was yelled at by my Mortgage counselor and hung up on. Where in America (USA) do you have a counselor yell at the people they are working with/counseling.
