About Carvana

Simply put, Carvana is a better way to buy a car. You can browse, finance, and purchase a car online and have it delivered to you as soon as the next day. Cutting out the dealerships translates to thousands of dollars in lower costs on every vehicle we sell. We pass these savings on to consumers in four ways: lower prices (our customers save $1,430 on average per purchase), premium cars, a better experience, and no hidden fees.

The process was made easy and expedient… The process was made easy and expedient by the helpful and agreeable staff. I received, what I see to be, slightly above market price for my vehicle. No wait time, bargaining, dragged out inspection, or frivolous paperwork. Direct deposit within 2 days. Great experience.

Great overall, more direct communication when requirements not met. I have used Carvana previously and provided a 5 star review. If everything goes smoothly and all your documents are in order it is an amazing process. However, some of the nuanced requirements are not communicated well by Carvana. Ex. I uploaded all the documents with appropriate dates and received a confirmation pickup schedule. The day of pickup I called to see why no one showed up and they stated my registration expired 60 days from that date….. but with a CA title they wanted an expiration >75 days. This was not communicated until I called and was informed. At this point the offer had expired and I had to register the car again 2 months early, which required a smog check. And then was quoted a lower offer than initial. I wish there was more transparency for all issue, and more of a direct communication versus the end-user having to reach out when deadlines are missed by Carvana. Keri, the team member who picked up the car was pleasant and professional. Did a great job and was very personable. Best part of the experience.

Just go to a dealer Customer service was pretty helpful, but there were several times I just gave up on trying to purchase and trade in a car. I’m sure if you just buy a car it would be easy, but god forbid you try to trade a car in. The time allotted doesn’t feel like enough, it asked for several documents that if you have no idea what you’re doing you’re not going to have enough time to get them. The car I’m ordering has gotten delayed several times. It’s been 3 weeks. At the point a dealer ship would have been better.

Honest Price, Fair Deal, Great Technology I tried the dealership where I purchased the car. They knew the car better than anyone since all regular maintenance and recalls over the past 10 years were done there. But I had to bring it in (it had been in ten days before) for inspection. Which meant anxiety, as they played around with the pricing. Carvana asked a few important questions at its website like title, liens, mileage, mechanical condition (my estimate) and exterior condition. All fair and easily answered. Then - boom - back came a price which I knew from Kelley Blue Book and Edmonds was fair and reasonable. I accepted. The pickup was even smoother. The Carvana representative arrived at the appointed hour at my home and did the check-list diagnostic while I watched, and presented me the check at the agreed price, with a few words of good advice. Carvana, once it had the documentation in hand notified me by email that the purchase was accepted by Carvana and I knew I could negotiate the check.
