I really like this program but… I really like this program but sometimes it gets stuck and all the letters or words are jumbled up on top of each other and it often freezes. I was advised that downloading the lesson first would help. My child has fun reading the books that mirror the lessons and I think it has improved his confidence.

Making reading fun Each page in a book, and consequently each new book, progresses my daughter’s learning at the ideal rate. She is loving to read, thanks to these colorful stories. The star stickers are a great addition, in that she rewards herself after completion of every few pages. Thanks Hooked on Phonics for making reading fun!

This program doesn’t engage my 4 yr old… This program doesn’t engage my 4 yr old nearly enough- and to be honest, it confuses him when he has to match sounds to a certain box when the animals indicated on those boxes DONT have the same sounds as the letters. I feel this could be improved!!

Would probably work better (for our… Would probably work better (for our child, at least) if there was a DVD type option. Not always having wi-fi available in our rural area, this may be helpful. For this reason, I probably won't be renewing my subscription. Thank you
