I ordered this program for my…granddaughter I ordered this program for my granddaughter who was struggling in school due to her poor reading skills. her school does not teach phonics anymore or how to sound out words they just expected her to remember to words. Hook on phonics has been amazing we work on it the entire summer it was super easy to use and they made it fun for her she greatly improved in her reading she is in the 4th grade this year has is almost where she needs to be now. I would recommend this to anyone it is the best thing I could have ever done for my granddaughter.

This program doesn’t engage my 4 yr old… This program doesn’t engage my 4 yr old nearly enough- and to be honest, it confuses him when he has to match sounds to a certain box when the animals indicated on those boxes DONT have the same sounds as the letters. I feel this could be improved!!

The packets were easy to follow and the… The packets were easy to follow and the my little guy loved the stars(awards) as he progressed through each packet. Definitely sharpened his attention and ability to distinguish his letter and word sounds. Highly recommended this to help advance reading skills.

Making reading fun Each page in a book, and consequently each new book, progresses my daughter’s learning at the ideal rate. She is loving to read, thanks to these colorful stories. The star stickers are a great addition, in that she rewards herself after completion of every few pages. Thanks Hooked on Phonics for making reading fun!

The hooked on phonics reading program… The hooked on phonics reading program has really helped my daughter learn to read in just a few months. When a financial emergency came up and we needed to pause Tosha b helped us out and gave us all the resources on how to restart right from where we left off. Overall excellent program
