Making reading fun Each page in a book, and consequently each new book, progresses my daughter’s learning at the ideal rate. She is loving to read, thanks to these colorful stories. The star stickers are a great addition, in that she rewards herself after completion of every few pages. Thanks Hooked on Phonics for making reading fun!

Definitely worthwhile Love the hooked on phonics application. My daughter at 6 years old has made definite improvements with her reading adding this in our routine. We (my daughter and I) have one complaint, and that there's not enough variety in the games. There are days it takes some coaxing to make it all the way through a lesson of another very predictable game.

The content is great but the animation… The content is great but the animation makes some of the letter confusing. Like the Q and g and odd. Also the app itself is a little buggy sometimes. Makes you repeat modules when you’ve previously completed. The animation isn’t that exciting to my 5 year old anymore

This program doesn’t engage my 4 yr old… This program doesn’t engage my 4 yr old nearly enough- and to be honest, it confuses him when he has to match sounds to a certain box when the animals indicated on those boxes DONT have the same sounds as the letters. I feel this could be improved!!

Would probably work better (for our… Would probably work better (for our child, at least) if there was a DVD type option. Not always having wi-fi available in our rural area, this may be helpful. For this reason, I probably won't be renewing my subscription. Thank you
