Decent experience I've been a member for sometime now and have downloaded quite a few movies. Never anticipated that there was something shady going on. Moreover the quality of movies downloaded were excellent and I didn't have any reason suspect the legality of it all. Now that they have been shut down, I wonder what happens to the money which is in credit with them from my credit card. How do I get it back? Do I need to reqeust my credit card company not to honour future charges from zml.com?

Shady practices and advertising I don't know anything about the site in general, but I do know that they hacked my friend's facebook account and spammed everyone one of his facebook friends (including me) with a message of "Waht are you donig on tihs viedo?" The spelling enough is enough to make you cringe. Then there was a link that took you directly to this ZML site. If they were a reputable business, I don't think they'd be hacking facebook accounts for advertising.

Russian Criminal Group - Rent at Your Own Risk zml.com is a criminal organisation run out of Russia. If you gave them your credit card, you might consider cancelling that card and getting a new one. Even if you have successfully downloaded movies, there is a good chance you will see unexplained charges and possibly a misuse of your personal information.

No Problems I have been quite confused over the bad ratings as I have been using ZML.com since 2008 and have never had any major problems with them. I do not know anything about their 99c trial offer or automatically billing credit cards for $39.90 per month etc. However, I have just noticed that there is another site called ZMLMovieDownload.com, which does mention the above. Could this be the cause of the confusion??

A garbage outfit!! Company's product, processes & procedures stink: they advertised a $.99 video download...After several tries I was able to get 60 Mb of a 700 Mb download! On the same day I notified the Company regarding the problem and told them to cancel the transaction/membership, etc.! I received an e-mail a day later telling me about a "1 month extension" and a $39.50 charge on my "statement"...They must be out of their **#$! minds!! I'll be contacting: FCC, BBB, State's Atty's office & possibly any other agency that comes to mind!!!!
