Some items just need a hands on appraisal. The appraiser I worked with was quick, I had some things that needed some research so it took a few minutes. I have a general ball park on what most items are worth, sure is nice having it verified. What impressed me most, some items you just cant appraise by photos, and some old Chinese vases I have need a hands on, and they suggested that.
