Flooded with unwanted calls I filled out a form with Modernize to find a contractor with specific skills. I didn't give permission to be contacted by any company other than who I specified, but within an hour, I received calls from over 10 companies. Based on this experience, be careful in working with Modernize. Whether you ask for them or not, you may get a flurry of calls from companies who aren't able to meet your needs.

You didn't have the size of walk on… You didn't have the size of walk on shower I require. Your cost "estimate" is a joke. From $1902 to $5040 is to huge a difference and is only a guesstimate. No help at all.

Great experience Their calculator was very helpful in understanding the cost of my home renovation. The manner in which the vendors reached out was also helpful for a person who doesn't want to be called every hour, on the hour. Will definitely use this site again for my next project.

Estimator not designed for anything beyond HVAC replacements I was trying to ascertain the average cost of a seasonal "HVAC system check-up," not a replacement. That option was not available to me. From print and digital media, I know there are offers out there <$100, excluding parts, if there is anything not functioning near optimally in a self-contained HVAC system. But this touted price estimator does not offer that option.
