I really appreciate the modernize.com… I really appreciate the modernize.com cost calculators for installing new gutters on my house. It would be really helpful if there was a way to narrow the estimated cost range.

It's kind of useless to give a siding… It's kind of useless to give a siding estimate that ranges from 2800 to 26000.

Flooded with unwanted calls I filled out a form with Modernize to find a contractor with specific skills. I didn't give permission to be contacted by any company other than who I specified, but within an hour, I received calls from over 10 companies. Based on this experience, be careful in working with Modernize. Whether you ask for them or not, you may get a flurry of calls from companies who aren't able to meet your needs.

Estimates are crap. Looking to replace a shower/tub combo. Estimates provided by modernize for the highest range topped at 6.8k. Amazingly, all of the contractors that contacted me through modernize basically laughed at that price at wanted at least double, for a BASIC shower/tub replacement. What a waste of time and now I have contractors calling me non-stop for business that I can’t afford.
