A much better perspective How enlightening! We have been considering a shower replacement for some time, but became discouraged with the high estimate we received from a contractor. This website gave us a better perspective on the range of both prices and options available in our area. We loved the choice of options from low range/basic remodel to the more high end/elaborate details if so desired. We also liked being able to access local contractors through the website. Flooded with unwanted calls I filled out a form with Modernize to find a contractor with specific skills. I didn't give permission to be contacted by any company other than who I specified, but within an hour, I received calls from over 10 companies. Based on this experience, be careful in working with Modernize. Whether you ask for them or not, you may get a flurry of calls from companies who aren't able to meet your needs.
