Its great to navigate and edit your film and profile, the layout is great, its very easy to find the information you need. Blows the others away by a mile. It is much easier to put all the material in one place than to send all the material to different festivals all the time. I like the filtering possibilities where you look up festivals, which makes it easier for a fairly narrow film to find the festivals that may be relevant. As well as the ability to update the page easily and follow the film’s statistics.

SCAM SITE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!! Sad to say that I was naïve enough to believe this was a legit website... the obvious bots giving fake feedback was enough to fool me. I can't get my money back but I can stop you wasting yours. Here's what will happen if you submit: Nobody will read your work, they'll just reject it or give you a meaningless title like 'Selected' or 'Quarter Finalist' which means precisely nothing. They advertise services like script reading which never arrive.... most don't even have real contact details or websites you can go to. I dread to think how many people have fallen victim to this. Will be reporting to the cyber fraud division of the police, although I doubt they'll do anything... don't make the same mistake I did!

Don't bother—go to festivals directly FilmFreeway is basically a junk mail machine that shares your email address with hundreds of fake and pointless "online festivals" who again share it with others, and if you should ever try to submit a film to any of them, don't expect to hear back. If you've put blood, sweat and money into making a film, don't just lump it into an aggregate website; carefully select the festivals you want to submit it to and go to them directly. If they have a FilmFreeway link on their site, stay well clear.

SO MUCH SPAM!!! There are very few festivals on FilmFreeway that are worth your time and effort; I spent about a $1000 USD in total and nothing good has come of any of it! The festivals are haphazardly put together, a lot of woke festivals where you have to meet every DEI marker and because I rely on good work, not those markers, I don't believe my work is viewed. I receive continuous spam in my email from garbage festivals that are just wanting my money, so much spam that it's too much to even comb through to see if there are legit festivals that would be worth my money. JUST PASS, don't waste your money!
