Mostly good checkout process, but with one annoying interface issue for those with basic phones Excellent rental experience. Since no shops seem to rent out OneWheels, this was the only place I could find to do so. I am taking off one star because the site did not allow me to submit ID verification (instead of submitting a $500 deposit with my credit card) because I do not have a smartphone. Even though I received a text with the link to the ID verification process, when I typed it into my web browser on my Macbook computer, the site would not let me proceed. I assume one would need to access the link directly on their smartphone. Not everyone has a smartphone or wants to use one, and it is a mistake for sites such as this to not be so user friendly to those who use basic phones and need to go through the rental process on their PC.

Use FriendWithA for renting any gear you want to try! FriendWithA is a great way to rent gear. I discovered it while visiting Arizona and looking for a mountain bike to rent. I ended up renting a OneWheel and had a blast. I will definitely be using FriendWithA in the future and will recommend it to my friends.

Fairly easy account set up, Good for bike rentals, I used FWA to rent a bike while on vacation, and I would guess the private rental saved me about 50% over the cost of a local bike shop rental. I like the idea of renting idle equipment/assets from a non-commercial source. The FWA account set up threw me a bit with the drivers license photo and separate portrait photo, but I felt FWA did this in a secure manner and understand the reason for this to protect both parties from theft or fraud. Everything worked out fine with the rental, but I would say look over the asset carefully with the renter before leaving with it to make sure it works as expected.

Great platform, great support, for a great time! We have been using the FWA platform for awhile now. It's a great platform with a great team supporting it. I can't wait for them to grow! We loan out a variety of items that would otherwise just sit around the house to collect dust. We've got everything from paddleboards to air tools, to office equipment listed on this site. The insurance is an awesome added feature. We feel much better loaning out our equipment with the insurance in place. It brings us peace of mind. Luckily we haven't had to use it, yet.
