Math Wars has been great! Math Wars has been great in my middle school classroom. In fact, after I implemented it mid-year, one of my 6th graders recently told me that it was "one of the best decisions I've made in the classroom." Kids come in daily asking if we're playing math wars, and several students have commented that they understand the lessons better since we've started using this method. It has made a big difference in their confidence and participation in class. I was hesitant to spend the money at first, but it has been well worth it. Highly recommend!

I binged the workshop over a weekend… I binged the workshop over a weekend and got to work on implementing it with my class for an end-of-year review activity over 3 days. I plan on using this in my classes when we return in September. It will be a great tool to keep things fresh and improve accountability with my grade 10 and 11 students. After just using this strategy for those 3 lessons, I already noticed students were not on their phones AND some of the kids that I NEVER heard participate, actually gave answers when cold-called upon. It was fantastic! Money well spent!

MEA oh WOW! The Math Engagement Academy is some of the best online professional development. It is great to have PD which is content related. I was looking for help with rubric grading however what I received was so much more. It has jumpstarted my preparations for the school year. I am so excited to start Math Wars in my classroom as well as CHAMPs in my class. This year I hope my kids will not only be engaged in class but their conceptual understanding will increase. I really can't say enough about this training and the support I have received. It is amazing.
