I loved participating at Codubee I loved participating at Codubee. I learned a lot of important information that helped me with future internships. I gained a ton of experience that I wouldn't have otherwise. Also, it was really fun to work on our project. Super grateful !!

Pretty good experience I think Codeubee was a pretty good experience! I learned skills outside from working in a practical agile team that have definitely helped me in later roles. If you are looking to get your foot in the door with software development, this is a good place to start for sure, just make sure to put in the effort.

Codubee was such an amazing learning experience... Codubee was such an amazing learning experience for me. I am super grateful to Miguel for offering me this opportunity, he has been a great mentor throughout the program. His program helped me gain real-world experience of working in a software development team, which I could have not gained anywhere being a first-year business major in a pandemic. This program has the potential to grow and change a lot of careers for students like me, I can't wait to see where Codubee heads in the next few months and years.

Perfect for Upcoming Software Engineers I've met with a couple of recruiters over the last month and they have ALL asked me about my experience from this program. One company mentioned that they also used Jira and Github, and said that I would fit in very quickly because of my experience from Codubee. Recently, I also had an interview with a company where their internship program was set up almost exactly like this one. They also had teams of 5, worked with ReactJS and used the agile methodology (sprints and standups) to structure their software development team. Since my experience was so similar, I easily got to the next step of the hiring process and will be doing a final interview with them soon 😆 I would definitely recommend this program if you want to pursue software engineering or a related field because it'll help you get one step closer to that goal. Also, if you're worried about the time commitment during the school year, here's my experience with that: I did this program during the spring semester, where we met for about 2 hours a week. This was pretty helpful as it let me stay on top of my classes and allowed me to choose how much time to allocate for the program based on my workload that week. Overall, the meetings were very flexible with our time schedules (especially around finals week) so we weren't stressed about our tasks and had enough time to complete them.

Learned a lot about web application teams Biggest takeaway was learning the workflow of a web application team. Learned essential knowledge about API's, the cloud, sprints, and nodejs. Even though I was a part of the backend, I think I can learn just enough front end to create a good side project. Besides the project we were assigned, learning of available jobs and what they require was really insightful. Plus the availability of coding challenges and interview prep really gave a a good impression of what is needed to be successful in the job market. I really enjoyed this program.
