GBPerfect for Upcoming Software Engineers I've met with a couple of recruiters over the last month and they have ALL asked me about my experience from this program. One company mentioned that they also used Jira and Github, and said that I would fit in very quickly because of my experience from Codubee. Recently, I also had an interview with a company where their internship program was set up almost exactly like this one. They also had teams of 5, worked with ReactJS and used the agile methodology (sprints and standups) to structure their software development team. Since my experience was so similar, I easily got to the next step of the hiring process and will be doing a final interview with them soon 😆 I would definitely recommend this program if you want to pursue software engineering or a related field because it'll help you get one step closer to that goal. Also, if you're worried about the time commitment during the school year, here's my experience with that: I did this program during the spring semester, where we met for about 2 hours a week. This was pretty helpful as it let me stay on top of my classes and allowed me to choose how much time to allocate for the program based on my workload that week. Overall, the meetings were very flexible with our time schedules (especially around finals week) so we weren't stressed about our tasks and had enough time to complete them.

GBCodubee is a great program for aspiring… Codubee is a great program for aspiring software engineers to get practical project experience. You get to work with popular technologies such as React and Node.js as well as experience with working in a scrum team like you could expect working for a company. On top of this, you are mentored through each step of way whether that is through the technical problems or through ways you can find and prepare for internships/full-time roles. Overall, I was very happy with the program. I was able to use the experience here to not only land internships but also to directly apply the technologies I learned in the workplace.

GBLearned a lot about web application teams Biggest takeaway was learning the workflow of a web application team. Learned essential knowledge about API's, the cloud, sprints, and nodejs. Even though I was a part of the backend, I think I can learn just enough front end to create a good side project. Besides the project we were assigned, learning of available jobs and what they require was really insightful. Plus the availability of coding challenges and interview prep really gave a a good impression of what is needed to be successful in the job market. I really enjoyed this program.

GBGreat Program! I learned a lot! It was nice working with five other software developers to create a website that helps other people:) I learned so much about the Agile methodology process and it will definitely help me in the future!

GBPretty good experience I think Codeubee was a pretty good experience! I learned skills outside from working in a practical agile team that have definitely helped me in later roles. If you are looking to get your foot in the door with software development, this is a good place to start for sure, just make sure to put in the effort.
