As someone weighing 210 pounds and at the age of 50, I had my reservations, but this board has exceeded all expectations. It's incredibly stable, allowing me to ride with ease. The lowest speed setting is very gentle Now, I do feel this is a decent product for any adult that wants it as a starter to intermediate board. I would recommend this board to 99% of the people out there, especially beginners. But if you plan on working up to going longer distances, get the x4s (Extended Range) version.
