A fabulous local and independent swim school A real gem and a rarity these days in a world full of franchises. Local and independent. Class sizes are small, of similar ability and, within that, tailored to each child's needs. Miss Ramsden is a wonderful teacher, as are the rest of the instructors and staff there. Both my children swim with Bury Swim School - my youngest at the Haymarket Pool (where my first child started 4 years ago); my oldest now at the Bury Grammar School pool. It's great that the children are able to transition from the 'little' to 'big' pool as their swimming journey progresses. I have no hesitations recommending this swim school to anyone looking for lessons.

Bury Swim School Denise and her team at Bury Swim School have played a crucial role in nurturing and teaching my son how to swim over the years. Ben started his journey with Denise in the small pool at Haymarket centre and has recently progressed to the pool at Bury Grammar. He loves it! He now has great confidence in the water and fully understands the importance of being able to swim. The lessons are delivered punctually and to a high standard with progression noted every week without compromising the fun element of being in the water. He always asks when we leave how long until his next lesson! I am hoping to start my daughter with Bury Swim school as soon as she is ready. Keep it up Denise and thank you!

The swim school you've been looking for. My child has been swimming at bury swim school for around 2 years now. Denise and Jake have given my daughter somewhere safe and fun to learn how to swim, they give clear and easy to follow instructions, all the children in the classes thoroughly enjoy their lesson. My daughter looks forward to her swimming lessons more than anything, and because it's fun she doesn't feel like she's having a major work out. Thank you for creating such a safe and enjoyable space for our children to thrive.

Bury Swim School Been swimming with Bury Swim school since it started - Both my children have enjoyed lessons and made excellent progress. Communication from Denise has been second to none - Have recommended the swim school to many others and hear from others about what great teaching Denise and her team have done for many years for the children of Bury and further afield. A life skill for all by a truly magnificent teacher. Would hope she continues for many years to come at Bury Grammar pool - reputation goes along way.

Brilliant for beginners Our son really enjoys his lessons at Bury Swim school - the small pool and small class sizes are perfect for beginners and were ideal for him starting off as he was quite nervous. His confidence and ability have grown massively and it’s a lovely, calm and positive environment.
