Bury Swim School Been swimming with Bury Swim school since it started - Both my children have enjoyed lessons and made excellent progress. Communication from Denise has been second to none - Have recommended the swim school to many others and hear from others about what great teaching Denise and her team have done for many years for the children of Bury and further afield. A life skill for all by a truly magnificent teacher. Would hope she continues for many years to come at Bury Grammar pool - reputation goes along way.

Welcoming, fun, and knowledgeable Our eldest has been going to Bury swim school for a couple of years now. Denise has developed a close relationship with him and gained his trust which is no small feat for a child with ASD. His progress has been immeasurable and he now loves being in pools and the sea, and is incredibly confident in water. My youngest started almost a year ago and also loves it. Denise makes lessons fun for the kids and teaches crucial skills along with it. Swimming is a highlight of my kids' week. All staff have always been welcoming and understanding and there's a lovely family atmosphere to the school.

Employee experience I have been employed by Denise for nearly a year now as part of the Bury Swim School team. Not only does she mentor me continuously through my own teaching but also ensures that all staff have her full support wherever needed which I am beyond grateful for. I have the pleasure of being able to teach many children in both the Haymarket pool and the Bury Grammar pool. Witnessing the progression in ability and confidence of these children has been the greatest of privilege of all, and for me ‘work’ never feels like work. This swim school has such a personal touch to it which makes teaching not only rewarding for us as teachers but for every child no matter who they are, that come into the hands of Bury Swim School.

Excellent Swim School Both children have swam with BSS for over 4 years. Instructors are clear with objectives for the lesson, kind, caring, calm and make lessons engaging and fun. Both have progressed well and feel confident in the water and importantly learn how to swim with the correct technique.

Highly recommend BSS Both my boys attend lessons at Bury Swim School & are both now so confident in the water & are amazing me with how much they have improved.
