You get a more local touch to your experence as you live in a local's home. However, many members do not update their calendars which makes you send requests in vain. Also, the filtering system does not always seem to work. Although requesting only matches that are available for guestpoints during the dates of the search, I got many other "matches", which makes the searching and matching process quite tiring sometimes.

As a single gal, 65 years old, and frequently traveling solo, all I'm looking for is a safe, convenient, reasonably priced place to stay and HomeExchange wins every time. Hosts and Guests quickly become life-long friends and the community grows in respect, accountability and mutual benefit with every exchange. It is the only way to go...see the world, celebrate connections and share with people.

Great holidays always... We have been using Homexchange for years now and we keep on finding it fantastic. Even if sometimes, it's becoming more Airbnb spirit. Still there are some great families to exchange with.

Tips for improvement I like the idea! The site and the app are good but can be improved. Suggestions: In a reciprocal exchange shoul be possible agree and change the data and the number of persons more easily without cancellation. The apartment chosen must be more evident in the message and the city or country of a proposal of reciprocal exchange should be shown in the first message. Should be easier to decide that an exchange could be without gp. The calendar could be more clear. The caracter dimension should be bigger or adjustable. This to help.. some tips could be copied also from Airbnb program and app. But i am a fan of your app!! ❤️

Home exchange experience as guest Sometimes difficult to get an answer from guests sprcialy in touristic areas . Apart this inconvenient , it's a very very good concept and so i'm very satisfied to make and use exchanges . I'm just now whith testing Home exchange service to find an exchange for me in september in Crete and i'll see its efficience?
