GBhot tub - nice + The hot tub out back was so relaxing. The location was great too. Very walkable. The staffers were very nice, helpful, & accommodating.

GBLoved the quaint old house/hotel Loved the quaint old house/hotel! Staff was incredibly friendly too! The small evening get-togethers and breakfasts were just right as well. Quiet time sitting on the front porch walking the passers-by was cool too. Add to all that the Brickhouse location in walking distance to everything, this is just a great place to stay!

GBDisappointed … Air conditioning was set to heat even though it was 75 degrees so they brought us up a box fan for the window. You call yourselves a bed & breakfast, but we had to pay an additional $18 per person if we wanted breakfast. Water pressure in the shower was terrible. Better pressure in the sink I guess you’re cutting a lot of corners. Very disappointing stay

GBBeautiful 19th century lodgings right in the heart of Gettysburg We stayed two nights at the Brickhouse Inn. We had the Georgia room in the Welty house, and it was GORGEOUS. We rolled in just before 6 pm after a very long day of traffic jams, and we were greeted immediately by Sam, one of the innkeepers, who showed us to our room and showed us all the ins and outs. We unfortunately were far too tired and hot to make the 6 pm champagne toast with the staff and other guests, but the offer was made right away! The room we had was beautifully updated while maintaining the charm of the original building. The balcony off the back was WONDERFUL for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. The rocking chairs were comfy and the backyard is a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. The location is PERFECT. It was only a couple of blocks up from Cemetery Ridge and the Jennie Wade House. Lots of options for eating in the close area, and only maybe a 1/2 mile from what I assume is the center of town. We highly recommend a stay here!

GBDouble check your reservation! The people who own/run Brickhouse are great.. very attenative, and nice. But if you book a stay, look over EVERYTHING that has to do with the reservation. I thought that a Bed & BREAKFAST was just that... a bed AND breakfast. When we go to eat the first morning, we were told that a our reservation did not include breakfast and we had to pay 20 something more for each of us.. and for what we paid to stay, all food should be included. Oh and what ever happened to just a plain old farmers breakfast?
