We love the Downtown Loft in Arcata! We love the Downtown Loft in Arcata! Centrally located and very walkable. Space is clean, comfy and nicely appointed. Highly recommend!

A Week in CA's Oyster Capital We stayed at Boardwalk Loft for a week to celebrate our anniversary in California's "Oyster Capital". We loved being able to walk to several fine seafood restaurants & to the North Coast Co-op. We ate breakfast in the lodging & the kitchen was well equipped. It was lovely to have small complimentary samples of local foods on our arrival (ground coffee, granola, & delicious Florentine cookies). The living area is quite spacious & the sofa is very comfortable. Plenty of spots for charging electronics. The bedroom was fine & the bed was comfortable (not too soft) which is not a given with rentals. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. Eureka is a terrific spot for visiting the redwood parks to the north & south. There are also some great beaches for walking. The Arcata Marsh was very interesting & a great bird watching location.

Our third time there w/family and… Our third time there w/family and wonderful as usual but how did you manage sunny clear days the whole time! FYI - housekeeping clean as usual and upon arrival we noticed screen door pushed out at bottom on side entrance, recessed light out over sofa and florescent light in garage constantly flickering and needs changing. Things housekeeping wouldn't notice.

Great Redwoods location This location was perfectly situated for us with easy access to the parks yet not inconvenient. We were able to visit the redwoods without needing to trek back to Trinidad or Eureka. The house is well stocked with a great view to greet you each morning. We enjoyed staying here and also being able to be nice and close to home after a long day hiking. We took a drive down to "Fishing Access" road and got a chance to walk along an empty beach on the less populated side where Redwood Creek meets the sea. We look forward to our next chance to visit again.

This is one of the best vacation… This is one of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed in ! It was so charming and clean , and the farm animals were a bonus. The location is perfect as well right next to Patrick’s Point where we hiked all day .
