Doesn’t compare well The condo was okay, but definitely not as nice as others we have rented in the same building. The kitchen was not well stocked. We were amazed at how much deep cleaning was needed: ceiling fans were very dirty, cabinets dusty inside, bathroom drawers gritty, etc. The main windows in the living room had no curtains. Every other condo we have rented in the same building has had these. We would not consider renting this unit again!

Nice but lacking in any special features The beachfront location of the house was great, but we were disappointed by the lack of amenities. There was no hose to wash our feet and prevent sand from being tracked in. There were no cushions for the chairs on the decks, and the TVs were quite small and outdated. With minor appointments being added, this could be a nice house.

Dewees Island is beautiful and… Dewees Island is beautiful and peaceful, love the place but the home we stayed at needs some serious maintenance. There were many issues such as the a/c going out Friday night and we had to deal with the heat and humidity for 2 days. We were offered to move to a new location but there were 8 women and lots of groceries to relocate. Icemaker did not work, ceiling fans did not work, lighting issues, serious problem with fire flaming up on grill, sewer gas odors, internet was not good........Disappointed in trip this time.

The house is perfect location for the… The house is perfect location for the beach! Great for large families and kids, since the beach isn't too packed. The house is cute and has lots of space for a big group. Honestly the only problem we really had was with the cleanliness of the home. The house was pretty dirty overall everywhere. Don't expect to use any dishes provided without washing first. Our sheets also had blood and stains on them. They looked like they haven't even been washed from the previous peoples stay. So overall, It wasn't a bad stay. Great for families. They just need to work on the cleanliness of the home to make me want to return to stay again.

The house was a complete wreck The house was a complete wreck. None of the outside lights worked, we found dirty clothes under the couch and bed. The drywall was cracked in the master bedroom. All of the ac vents had rust and constantly leaked water. The toilets all ran, and we had to manually fix them with every use. The grass in the yard was not cut, and dog feces were throughout the yard when we arrived.
