US50 year cycle I did the Bright Angle/Hermit loop in the Grand Canyon in 1974 with friends and repeated it this year with Wildland Trekking. The company and the experienced and personable guide handled permits, transportation, logistics, extra equipment, food, water purification and dishes. The result was a low-stress trip with plenty of time to enjoy the canyon. Best taken mid-October to mid-May and be aware there's a 3700' climb out with packs and water at the end.
