GB50 year cycle I did the Bright Angle/Hermit loop in the Grand Canyon in 1974 with friends and repeated it this year with Wildland Trekking. The company and the experienced and personable guide handled permits, transportation, logistics, extra equipment, food, water purification and dishes. The result was a low-stress trip with plenty of time to enjoy the canyon. Best taken mid-October to mid-May and be aware there's a 3700' climb out with packs and water at the end.

GBShort Inca trail experience (our 6th… Short Inca trail experience (our 6th Wildland trip) was outstanding and Jose was one of the best guides we have had. The scenery was stunning, Jose provided so much histoy and insight into Inca and Peruvian history. The accommodations were amazing as were the meals. And the highlight, Machu Picchu didn't disappoint. Truly a once in a lifetime!

GBWild Wyoming llama trek The Wild Wyoming llama trek was a fabulous experience in one of the most wild and beautiful areas of the lower 48 states - off the beaten path and away from crowds. The guides were terrific, as were fellow trekkers. The hiking was comfortable, and the llamas were good company. This trek is a great way to get into the backcountry without having to carry a full pack.

GBOur guide was very knowledgeable Our guide was very knowledgeable. Wildland took care of all camping equipment and meals. This was a great solution for anybody who doesn’t want to plan and organize an entire trip themselves. National Park access and specialty equipment was handled by Wildland. Very easy.
