Deeper Africa first took the time to get to know our family and our interests/goals for the safari, both to help build our safari and pair us with a guide that matched our interests. Our guide, Albert, was phenomenal. Beyond the classic safari sights (big 5), our family loves birds, and Albert is a bird expert. He spotted and identified 84 species with us! Albert was also very open and knoweldgable about culture and other aspects of Tanzania. We also had a customized anthropology experience at Oldupai. We would definitely use Deeper Africa for another safari.

USDeeper Africa was a full service provider. Deeper Africa was a full service provider and handled all the details. Meaning, they we able to handle any needs or desires we presented to them. They were proactive and followed through on all commitments. Staff were knowledgeable and responsive. And, there were added value benefits like gifts and even a personalized lunch meeting to prepare us for the trip.

USCan't imagine how it could have been better. Deeper Africa handled everything from start to finish. Totally experienced and professional operation. It was nice to be briefed on the details before we left - such that there was only adventure and awe - but without unnecessary drama. Can't imagine how it could have been better. Wherever we went in Tanzania with their guide, Ammy Nnko, we could tell he was highly respected by everyone we encountered. We so much appreciate him sharing his world with us.

USFabulous experience Fabulous experience. We were guided along each airport experience with help to get thru customs and find our way, we were able to speak with Karen when united airlines strangely canceled my husband’s flight to go home!!!!! Deeper Africa also prepared us for any Covid issues and found us hotels and Bid Air to transfer us to hotels. This is our third trip with Deeper Africa which should in itself say alot

USKenya - Great trip, but difficult to set up It was difficult to speak with a knowledgeable person when setting up the trip. The person who answered the phone could rarely answer our questions. Also, we did not think that having the same guide drive us around for two weeks optimized our experience. We missed out on having the diversity of guide expertise that we would have had by using the guides at each camp.
