GBThe staff and crew of the Sea Spirit… The staff and crew of the Sea Spirit were fantastic! We had high expectations for this trip and they were exceeded. The expedition staff, while always focused on safety, were friendly and really made the kayaking and camping fun, informative, and enjoyable. The hotel staff was great. Our room was constantly kept clean and well made. The food was incredible. We highly recommend any voyage on the Sea Spirit.

FICan I give 6 stars? Can I give 6 stars? I was truly amazed by our Antarctic experience with Poseidon. The team strove to make the Sea Spirit a home away from home, and it felt like it. Everything was so well organized, the cruise program was fantastic and stimulating, the landings let us see so much wildlife and I certainly felt in safe hands with the updates on travel plans and weather conditions. The food deserves a particular mention for its excellence, as does the entire crew on board. An excellent adventure!

GBThis was our third trip on Poseidon This was our third trip on Poseidon. What we like best is the small ship (i.e., fewer passengers that you then get to know better) and the fantastic crew. We also prioritize Poseidon because of the great excursions, usually two per day, out on the zodiacs or on land. Their subject-matter experts are great, covering both natural and human history.

GBAll aspects of this trip were… All aspects of this trip were phenomenal! Everyone was constantly on their A-Game and we had a great crew and staff. Expedition team members were fun and knowledgeable while taking care of us and making sure we were safe. We saw incredible things and had an amazing time. I cannot recommend them enough. We look forward to returning for another expedition soon!

AUANTARCTICA JANUARY 2023 Like others I too was very disappointed that we did not get to our planned destination and would like to make two points: 1. I recall a meeting at which an alternative was discussed, cancel the polar plunge and meet our goal. A show of hands indicated the plungers were a small minority but the expedition leader said the planned plunge would not be cancelled. I understand only 20 people actually went on the plunge. Why didn’t the majority count? 2. On another expedition cruise we have taken I felt that land treks were better handled. Details of the trek conditions and distance were made very clear, and alternative shorter walks were also offered. Trek maps were even included. I am not saying this would have prevented this accident, but at least it recognized that less fit people should have a choice. It would be nice to complete the journey another time but for us it won’t be with Poseidon.
