GBTrip of a lifetime! Everything about the trip was awesome, begging with getting a warm greeting to in Baltra and taken to the boat, meeting the crew the other divers aboard. The boat is awesome, spatious, modern, the crew go out of their way to make you feel like a king food, was great all services wonderful. Natalia and Alex were amazing dive leaders and we saw so much (Tons of sharks, rays and even an Orca and Whale Shark experience in Feb!!) !! There really was nothing negative about the experience, one of the great weeks of my life that I will always treasure.

GBDiving the Galapagos was incredible Diving the Galapagos was incredible. Everything on board, especially the crew, was very good, except the following: No hot water for showers in the cabins (lukewarm at best); the "English" and logic on the dive briefings was very bad. You're making the two divemasters do way too much. (Meet us at airports, logistics for in and out, dive equipment, waiting tables, briefings, fixing broken rooms, diving with groups, etc. etc. ) Get someone who can speak decent English and communicate effectively for the dive briefings. Kevin the divemaster was fantastic. His commitment to make sure everyone had a good time and his work ethic is commendable.

GBBest in Class Dive Guides & Liveaboard Experience My wife and I had a fantastic experience with the Humboldt Explorer in the Galapagos. The team was so welcoming and friendly the entire week. Phenomenal job during dive briefings, crew helping with gear on and off the boats to provide a true white-glove service experience. Never once did I ever have to lean over to put on my own fins the whole week in the zodiak boats. The meals were excellent and plenty to go around. Fresh snacks, fruit and juice after every dive. The team was so helpful during the other hours of the day with cleaning the living quarters, providing medicine when needed and sharing in many laughs throughout the week. We will certainly use Explorer Ventures for all future liveaboard experiences!

ESthe worst of my 15 life boarded cruises The boat was quite old although in acceptable condition, we sailed the entire trip listing to port. There were insects on the boat. Regarding the unprofessional diving guides, they only thought about getting out of the water, they have done nothing to look for life, they were making rings of water bubbles. Truly the worst of my 15 life boarded cruises I have ever taken.

PRAwesome 5 stars I would highly recommend diving in the Galapagos with the explorer ventures Humboldt Explorer boat. Our dive guides were Oscar and Ronnie, they rocked! The entire crew team were so kind and helpful, as my first board it was an awesome experience. I am vegetarian, and there were several people with gluten allergies, vegan etc, the chef made wonderful meals for all of us! The only thing I’d recommend to do differently is allowing tipping with a credit card, Venmo, or PayPal - since carrying a lot of cash is difficult! Or, let people know ahead of time that cash is the only option!
