GBAll in one planning It was helpful to make all our reservations (air/car/accommodations) from one central site. This was our 4th trip through GVV and very happy with them all. With one exception. Due to a death in the family, we had to move our recent trip to Ireland back a week. Having purchased travel insurance for unexpected situations such as this, we were surprised to find out the airlines charged $199/per person to move our flight back a week and we were unable to use the GVV discount code on our new reservation. It was helpful the GVV representative was able to reduce the airline fee to $150/per person. Would still book with GVV for future travels.

GBGreece trip with islands We did a Greece trip with islands. It was pretty good overall. The first hotel room we had wasn't great but the rest were really nice. It easier super clear on how we'd be getting our tickets and information before the trip, which was somewhat stressful, but it all worked out once we got there.

GBSatisfactory Did not like the choice and location of some hotels, at Rome, and Tropea, since they were away from city center. The Ferry ride to Sicily was not as expected.. The Gelato experience was good. The dinners provided did not represent the traditional good pasta/sauces and foods of Italy.

GBWorth every cent! Everything was very seamless with our trip planning, we just had to print the items clearly stated by Great Value Vacation, pack our bags, and show up! It was so easy, my boyfriend and I are deciding which place to visit next!

GBToo much overall time on bus that we… Too much overall time on bus that we did sine of our own side trips at our own cost (Almafi Coast for example was not making ANY stops to explore ) and delays with ferry to Sicily. Understand the delay but our tour guide was HORRIBLE at providing updates and making the delay for 37 middle age adults more enjoyable or at least manageable. We sat on the ground and steps, moving our luggage (which should have stayed in our “rooms” which were difficult for everyone) I would not recommend any ferry that is not high speed (or train). Dimitri (guide) walked around talking/yelling into his phone anytime we had a glitch… which was often and totally understandable. He also made check in at hotels and ferry chaotic and stressful. If not for the nicest people on this trip and all of us taking care of each other, it would have been a disaster. Also, too many things in too few days. Minimal 2 night stay in destinations should be the norm. Also, there were a few falls and he had no first aid kits to assist, we were running around the rest stop getting ice and antiseptic and bandages. He is arrogant, selfish and too machoism for women from US. ALSO, he obviously doesn’t like Southern Italy, maybe keep him up North, which he raves about.
