Satisfactory Did not like the choice and location of some hotels, at Rome, and Tropea, since they were away from city center. The Ferry ride to Sicily was not as expected.. The Gelato experience was good. The dinners provided did not represent the traditional good pasta/sauces and foods of Italy.

Will do business again with Great Value Vacations Ireland has the FRIENDLIEST people in the world. The hotel was super great! The experience wonderful. London was a short but sweet visit and the hotel was good too. Paris was great. We had time to see lots of things. We had a fitness room in two of the hotels and the food was great in the hotels that offered breakfast.

A Great Value but... Great Value truly provided a great value in terms of the cost of the trip, and the place we stayed was amazing. However, all communication is done electronically and no where in our paperwork did it say that I was listed as the driver for our car rental and that I would have to provide a driver's license. Since my husband was driving and the husband of the other couple traveling with us, and I cannot drive a stickshift, I didn't even have my license with me and was told after our long flight to Rome that I would have to sort it out with Great Value (it was 1:30am NY time). I was in tears and the rental agent finally made a call and they were able to switch it to my husband, with an additional fee for the second driver (which we were also not informed about). This was an awful way to begin our vacation, and such crucial information should have been in our paperwork so I could have switched it before we left.

Pleased with my Purchase Overall pleased with this purchase and would do it again. The flights were more than the voucher so I had to pay more up front. They didn’t include basics like a carry on bag. Once purchased the airline didn’t offer me the opportunity to upgrade. The hotel beds in Paris were awful and charged us an extra Paris tax. That said the package was pretty much as advertised - a trip to London and Paris including the airfare and train fare as well as hotel rooms.

We had a great tour guide We had a great tour guide. Dimitri was very experienced and did a great job leading the group in this complicated itinerary. I was unhappy with the flights that were scheduled. It took us 26 hours to get home! (Rome to Florida) Otherwise, we had a great time.
