He was so incredibly knowledgeable about Israel, the Bible, people in general, and he discussed ways the past relates to the present. He was so kind and genuinely wanted us to understand and appreciate his country. He had a gentle firmness about keeping our group of 24 quiet when he was talking so we could all enjoy what he was saying. He even told us his personal story, which was amazing. This trip for me was life altering and I highly recommend anyone going to Israel to have a licensed guide….like Escher!

Our Exodus 14 trip was an incredible trip! Our Exodus 14 trip was truly a once-in-a-lifetime, incredible learning experience. In spite of the blistering summer heat (especially at Petra), we had a fantastic journey that brought the Scriptures to life. We highly recommend Pilgrim and look forward to our next trip with Pilgrim. Each part of the trip with Pilgrim is so well planned and seamless. We stayed in great places with great food. It is obvious that everything has been well explored and well thought out. All we had to do was listen, learn, and absorb everything and anything we could while visiting each country.

Pilgrim Tours is great! Pilgrim Tours is great! Our tour guide was very friendly and informative. He provided us with whisper devices so that we could clearly hear him as we toured the different sites, and he even helped our group when language and cultural barriers lead to a lack of communication and understanding. Also, our driver always made sure his bus was clean and comfortable, with water bottles we could purchase as we went from place to place. The sites were beautiful, and the hotels we were taken to were clean, well kept, and overall comfortable.

Tour guides were excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area we traveled in. Still friends with them. All details were seen too and no problems. Would gladly use Pilgrim again. OUTSTANDING TOUR - DON'T MISS IT! I just returned from a 10-day "Best of Israel" tour with my granddaughter through Pilgrim Tours. I cannot adequately compliment Pilgrim enough. Our tour guide, Mickey, was unbelievably knowledgeable and compassionate and make Israel come alive for us. The tour included everything we wanted to see. The lodging and meals were great, but the daily highlight was the tour itself. I'm 82 years old and Mickey was very understanding of my limitations and guided me through each challenge. If I'm able to take another tour, it will only be with Pilgrim.
