co-led a tour of Turkey co-led a tour of Turkey, the Islands, and Greece for our St. Stephen's University (SSU.CA) travel module for two weeks. The attendees described it as the trip of a lifetime, featuring amazing bucket-list sites, VERY warm and knowledgeable guides, and Pilgrim Tour's ability to create a fast and flexible solution when we faced a city-wide bus, taxi, and Uber strike on the day we needed to get to the airport. We have been with Pilgrim many times, found this same consistency, and when our previous trip was cancelled due to COVID, they are able to recover for more of our deposits than was their obligation under the contract. This last trip was so good that one of our attendees immediately booked two more tours with them. We have shopped around for alternatives before, but clearly won't need to do that in the future.

Steps of John and Paul with Istanbul In 2019, 2 friends and I took the 16-day Steps of John and Paul tour which began with Istanbul. The first 3 chapters of Revelation and the New Testament mission trips of Paul came alive in Turkey, Greece and the Mediterranean islands in between. Pilgrim Tours did an excellent job for a reasonable cost. My opinion is don’t leave out Istanbul and the bus trip down the Turkish coast to cross the Dardanelles Strait on a car/bus ferry!

Tour guides were excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area we traveled in. Still friends with them. All details were seen too and no problems. Would gladly use Pilgrim again. Pilgrim Tours is great! Pilgrim Tours is great! Our tour guide was very friendly and informative. He provided us with whisper devices so that we could clearly hear him as we toured the different sites, and he even helped our group when language and cultural barriers lead to a lack of communication and understanding. Also, our driver always made sure his bus was clean and comfortable, with water bottles we could purchase as we went from place to place. The sites were beautiful, and the hotels we were taken to were clean, well kept, and overall comfortable.

My trip with Pilgrim Tours was a 20! My trip with Pilgrim Tours was handled very professionally from the start. Even with Covid messing up all our plans, the trip was finally able to happen. Pre-trip communication, including educational materials and reminders to get into physical shape and also make timely payments were very helpful. During the trip everything went very smooth, including daily tours, meals, hotels and transportation. If I was asked to rate this trip on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest, I'd give it a 20. I have already verbally signed up with the Tour Organizer for a trip next year. - Paul Biebel
